Stephen King's The Mist Reiew

Okay, so today as my final day of school and I felt that I was way to happy and it didn't suit me so I sat down and had a horror double feature of Stephen King's The Mist followed by The Purge. I have seen the purge before but I was saving the mist for a special day so I've decided to review it while it is still fresh in my memory. So one thing I should mention that I was saving this because it is my first Stephen King movie I have seen several miniseries and TV shows but not movies but I would like to say that this was defiantly worth the wait, I'm not saying that this is one of my favorite movies but it was very...different and I did enjoy it. One of the things I liked about The Mist is its complete lack of censoring the real reactions of panicked people and though I believe that some of their responses are 'questionable' I think the movie raises some very interesting points of human behavior and if you've seen the movie you will understand what I am talking about but if you haven't seen it I would defiantly recommend watching it just once, the special effects are a little 'dated' but over all it is an interesting and well made movie.

Overall I'd rate it about a 8.2/10 stars

thanks for reading,
Jack
